By using Mimic (mimicrobots.fun) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can contribute

You must be 18 or older to record and send clips. You confirm this with a checkbox before every upload.

What you send

• Send only clips of your own hands doing the task you picked.
• Do not show faces, other people, screens with content, documents, ID or bank cards, addresses or anything else private.
• Do not send anything illegal, harmful, sexual, violent or hateful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
• Do not try to get around the checks, the limits or the spam protection.

Licence

When you send a clip, you agree that the clip, its hand data, the task and your nickname are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). That means anyone may copy, use and adapt them for any purpose, including training and selling robots, as long as they give credit. You keep the right to ask for deletion (see Privacy), but copies already downloaded by others cannot be recalled.

Checks and removal

Clips are checked automatically and sometimes by a person. We may reject or remove any clip, nickname or contributor for any reason, including breaking these terms.

The token

$MIMIC is a token that unlocks a few features on this site. It is not a share, a security, an investment product or a claim on Mimic, the dataset or any income. Read the own-risk page.

No warranty

Mimic and the dataset are provided as they are, without any warranty. We do not promise that the site is always available, that the checks catch everything, or that the data is fit for any purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using the site, the dataset or the token.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
