Teach a robot with your hands.
Robots learn household tasks by watching people do them. Record 10 seconds of yours on your phone. Hand tracking runs on your device, and your motion joins an open dataset anyone can download.
Hands only. If a face shows up, the recording stops and nothing is sent.
Tasks robots still need
Each task needs a few hundred good demonstrations from different hands, kitchens and angles. These have the fewest so far.
Cut paper with scissors
Cut a strip off a sheet of paper.
Fold a T-shirt
Lay a T-shirt flat and fold it into a neat rectangle.
Fold a towel
Fold a small towel in half, then in half again.
Open a jar
Hold the jar with one hand and twist the lid off with the other.
Pair and roll socks
Put two socks together and roll or fold them into a pair.
Pass an object between hands
Pick something up with one hand and pass it to the other.
Ten seconds, three steps
- 01
Pick a task
Fold a towel, open a jar, pour water. Everyday things, done the way you always do them.
- 02
Record your hands
Ten seconds on your phone. Hand tracking runs on your device and saves 21 points per hand, every frame.
- 03
Watch the robot copy you
A robot hand replays your motion. After a check, your clip and hand data join the open dataset.
Accepted demonstrations
Shown as hand motion only. The clips are in the dataset.
Free to download, free to use
Every accepted clip comes with per-frame 3D hand landmarks. Use it to train, test or study, with attribution under CC BY 4.0.
